TenCate Advanced Composites (“TCAC”) is a leading global producer of advanced thermoplastic (TP) and thermoset (TS) composites. TCAC supplies TP composites to commercial aviation programs including Airbus and Boeing who are increasingly replacing traditional materials with TP as a means of reducing costs and enabling higher build rates on current and next-generation programs. In addition, TCAC has leading positions in high-value, attractive niche TS markets including Space & Communications and Industrial end-markets (specialty automotive). The Company employs over 700 FTE globally and operates manufacturing facilities in North America (3 incl. HQ), Europe (2), and Asia (1). TenCate Advanced Composites was sold to Toray in July 2018.
