Canova SGR is a newly established Italian venture capital firm (authorized by the Bank of Italy in June 2023) currently in the early deployment phase of its first fund, Nova 1, targeting €45M for Italian Seed and Series A investments in AI/ML, Blockchain, Deeptech, IoT, and Cybersecurity. Known strategic positions include participation in Eterna Capital Fund III (blockchain) and a partnership with VeniSIA (Venice Sustainability Innovation Accelerator) for deeptech and sustainability startups. Direct portfolio company names are not yet publicly disclosed.
